On Community of Practice (CoP) MIP Validation Workshop on June 15, 2022.

Welcome Speech by Dr. Ben Odoemena, COP Extension Activity,

He appreciated the support from the department of Extension and the ministry especially the Director and Eugene and welcomed everyone to the validation exercise. He noted that the Special COP is used to mobilize stakeholders as addition to the MIPs validated earlier last year.

Engr. Frank Satumari Kudla, Director, Agric Extension Department, (FMARD). 

The Director remarked that extension is very critical to agriculture, and it gladdens to see experts to meet to promote this very critical aspect of agriculture. He expressed excitement that the Department will participate in disseminating the Activity’s 10 new MIPs to farmers, states ADPs, etc. He also noted that the ministry was very close to achieving its Extension Roadmap and hoped to get its approval and put it to use by year end.
